Our Kuala Lumpur canvas backpack is a designer piece for the urban jungle, made from high-quality materials it offers lots of functionality and lets you travel with style.
The Kuala Lumpur backpack is the perfect companion in all situations like the daily commute or a weekend trip. It has many pockets so you can organize everything easily. The padding protects your items, and you can wear it very comfortably. All this combined in vintage style design. The whole backpack stands for quality.
We are using natural, sustainable materials. The thick and sturdy cotton canvas is giving this designer backpack a luxury, high-quality touch. It is a perfect combination with the full-grain vegetable-tanned Vachetta leather which changes its patina over time and makes each backpack special. The buckles and sliders made of high-quality antique brass zinc-alloy are without sharp edges or cheap metals.
On the outside, we have two side pockets fitting a one-liter water bottle or a power bank. Each has a grommet so you can load your phone on the go. The vintage military style front-pocket fits a small notebook and pens. The shoulder straps, back, and bottom are padded to protect your items and to make wearing it more comfortable. One secret pocket with a zipper on the back can hide your passport. Another small pocket in the shoulder strap can hide your public transport card, so you always have it on hand at the daily commute.
The inside of the backpack offers a cotton twill lining with an extra soft velour on the inside of the pockets. The padded laptop compartment fits a 15.6" laptop and we have a pocket for an up to 10.5" tablet. Two small and two medium-sized pockets with velcro flaps fit everything from sunglasses to chargers. Finally we added a key-chain, so you never need to search for your keys again (and you can hide it in an extra pocket to avoid scratches).

Selma, our designer, explained how she choose the colors:
I focused on finding the perfect color for our backpack. "Deep Well" gives our vintage-inspired design a modern look. It is a color between dark grey and night blue, in direct sunlight it can even look a bit purple. I love this color because it is neutral, and therefore timeless. This shade of blue is versatile which makes it an ideal addition to any other color, starting from classic black and white to all kind of bright colors or earthy tones. You can never go out of style with our Deep Well color.
